Cicileo- Ethos Week 3

Would you let this man babysit your children?

Known for his incredible success in Rocky, Sylvester Stallone is undoubtedly an incredibly talented man. As a young adult, Stallone shot to fame after he wrote and starred in the renowned film, Rocky, sending him into stardom. Many films written by him followed, including a fifth Rocky film. In this film, Stallone’s son, Sage, at age fourteen, played alongside his father, introducing Sage Stallone to the world of cinematography. Intrigued by his experience, Sage continued in the movie world, directing, writing, and acting. Stallone was a huge influence and support to his son’s career.
In 1976, Sylvester and Sasha Stallone received devastating news about their youngest son, Seargeoh. He had been diagnosed with Autism at age three. Resolved to keep up the fight, they refused to put Seargeoh in a mental institution and continued to support him through the hard times. Millions of dollars were put in to help his son and Stallone never backed down. As Stallone’s career continued with roles in Rambo and the Expendables one and two, he did not fail to care for his family. One day, during the filming of The Expendables 2, Stallone found out that his oldest son, Sage, had been found dead in his home in Los Angeles. Although Stallone was devastated by the loss of his thirty-six year old son, he did not stop defending his deceased son by rebuking speculation of drugs concerning Sage’s death. Stallone continued to support his wife and younger son, Sasha and Seargeoh, through the harsh loss of Sage.
Stallone continued to be the best father he could be to two sons and three daughters, even though his marriages became a constant struggle. Never putting an end to the care for his children, Stallone still provides his children with exceptional love and support.
